About
Tina Shenk
My creative practice is born from a deep love of nature and its imperfect perfection. In my ceramic works and paintings, I explore form, color, and proportion, using natural and muted tones and forms.
I work entirely by hand, without using a pottery wheel. It is important for me to preserve the natural character of the material and allow each object to develop its own unique form. Irregularities, asymmetry, and traces of the hand are an essential part of my work.
Through my work, I act as a kind of continuation of what nature has already created: collecting its forms, colors, and textures, combining them, and transforming them into art objects that can become part of everyday human life. What cannot be taken home - the beauty of cliffs, the shapes of landscapes, or the colors of a sunset - I try to preserve in ceramics and painting, making these impressions more tangible and accessible.
Hi and welcome!
I am Tina Schenk, a Ukrainian-born artist and ceramicist, born in 1994. I completed my education at a local art education institution in Ukraine and have since been developing my practice in abstract painting with elements of minimalism.
My works are currently presented on several online art platforms and marketplaces, where I continue to build my presence and connect with collectors. At this stage of my career, I am focused on refining my visual style and creating new cohesive collections of paintings and ceramic pieces.
